Warm maple-flavored waffles, chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, honey butter spread and syrup, with your choice of Original, Spicy or Grilled chicken. There’s a smaller breakfast version and a larger lunch/dinner version too!

And don’t forget the new S’mores Frosted Coffee & S’mores Milkshake! 🍫🔥

One of us is excited about all of this... the other is still asking why they couldn’t just leave the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich on the menu. 😂

🏫🍕 Talk about a school lunch flashback with an upgrade!

The Lunch Lady Special at Heavens to Betsy in Lawrenceburg takes those nostalgic rectangle school pizzas and turns them into a sandwich loaded with ham and all kinds of goodness, served with corn, a little bottle of Ale-8 and a seriously delicious chocolate chip cookie. 🍪🥤

We also tried the grilled cheese, broccoli salad and pasta salad, and everything was delicious! They have a HUGE selection of sandwiches, different sides and plenty of in-house baked desserts to tempt you too. 🤤

Call it in for pickup or eat there and get the full nostalgic lunch-tray experience!

⚠️ The Lunch Lady Special ends August 22nd and they close at 7! Sorry we're sharing this one so late... it took us all week to finally get over there, but we're sure glad we did. Hopefully they bring this one back! 🤞

🎶 SCHOOL LUNCH NOSTALGIA UNLOCKED! 🍕😂
Heavens to Betsy in Lawrenceburg just took us WAY back with their Lunch Lady Special!
You remember it… that rectangle pizza on the plastic tray, corn on the side, and that little drink to wash it all down. 😂
Except H2B gave school lunch a serious glow-up: square pizza, pepperoni, grilled ham, banana peppers, shredded lettuce & ranch stacked into one glorious sandwich.
And instead of that tiny cafeteria drink? An ice-cold Ale-8-One elevates the whole lunch experience. 🥤🙌 Kentucky school-lunch nostalgia just leveled up.
One bite and suddenly we’re back in the cafeteria wondering who we’re sitting with at lunch. 🤣
🎵 We liked it so much, we made the sandwich its own music video.

🌶️ Let’s talk about Chef Reaux at Mortimer Bibb’s!

We’ve been telling my sister-in-law and father-in-law that Chef Reaux’s Cajun Fusion is one of Frankfort’s hidden gems, and last night they finally trusted us. 😂 They definitely didn’t regret it!

We were celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday from earlier this week and my birthday, which is today, and decided to share several dishes family-style.

The Jambalaya Stuffed Peppers were the WOW of the night. That house-made remoulade was so rich and creamy my sister-in-law thought there was cheese in it! Between those, the Beans & Greens, Spicy Egg Salad and that amazing Brown Sugar Honey Slaw, the whole table was oohing, aahing and wowing.

Chef Reaux rotates her dishes every few weeks, so there’s always something new coming out of her kitchen at Mortimer Bibb's Public House.

🍹 And shout-out to the bartenders too!

Great drinks + Chef Reaux’s food = one Frankfort hidden gem worth finding.

🌭 FINALLY caught Hot Rod's Weiner Wagon LLC! They’re at Commonwealth Credit Union on Louisville rd until 2 PM TODAY!

🔥 $7 meal gets you a hot dog, side & drink! I went with sauerkraut + mustard, garden pasta salad and water. Simple and GOOD!

They have plenty of other choices too. Go check out their page for more info. Catch ’em before 2! 🌭💨
