A few new additions to the coming seasons. Another ol trusty 870 with a 28 inch barrel to get on top of these ol gobblers next spring, she's smooth as butter and packs a nasty pattern. What I'm really excited for is getting the optic mounted on this 30-30 henry lever gun and putting in some work in the deer woods this fall

Those golden delicious fried wild turkey loin nuggets. Seasoned these up in some fire and smoke chicka licka bam bam seasoning, soaked and marinated in pickle juice and milk for most of the day until they were tossed into some well seasoned flour and fried to perfection. Yall know I had to go all out and include all the fixing. Mashed potatoes, green beans, and ol fashioned corn pudding.

Both Kentucky spring 2026 longbeards finished up and sitting pretty on these custom barnwood plaques. These plaques from my dude off of etsy always turn out so nice. It was a spring turkey season for the books but was over for me far too soon. Until next spring I'll be dreaming about those magical spring mornings in the turkey woods and those thunderous gobbles ringing out from every ridgetop roost

Yall can keep sleeping on those wild turkey legs and thighs if you want too. Threw a few legs and thighs down in the slow cooker this morning with some fire and smoke sweet peeper seasoning, liquid smoke, pineapple juice, honey, onion, and chicken broth. Let em hang out in that slow cooker for 8 to 9 hrs to do their thang. The meat just separates from those fine bones and ligaments, does all the work and tender as you please. Gonna toss these in some sweet kentucky bourbon bbq and let it simmer for a bit. The family is gonna be enjoying some fine bbq pulled wild turkey sandwiches this evening with the works
