Melissa is now tied for the 3rd strongest hurricane ever recorded as it’s making landfall in Jamaica! Latest NHC update as of 9am CST has a pressure of 892mb and winds of 185 mph. Pray for everyone in the path of this monster, this is a worst case scenario unfolding.

Hurricane Melissa is an absolute buzzsaw! With the latest advisory reporting a pressure of 908mb and winds of 175 mph, this is equivalent to an EF4 tornado. With landfall expected tomorrow this will be catastrophic for Jamaica and the nearby islands.
