First Missionary Baptist Church hosted its annual MLK Day celebration and march, and the congregation heard locals' visions for the community, what they see as next steps after the Fuller Story initiative, new ways to "continue the dream."

Franklin Elementary School is one of two Tennessee schools to be named a 2019 National ESEA Distinguished School, recognized for it's academic achievement and growth among 73 schools across the nation.
Principal Anne Riley credits the teaching and coaching staff as well as the robust fine arts program for fostering students' overall performance and well-being.

FLORA moved (just a little) south for the winter from Nashville to open it's second branch on West Main Street in Franklin. The company is geared towards making plant care a breeze, even for chronic accidental plant killers.
The business is holding a grand opening on Saturday and will give away fun prizes to a select amount of customers.
