In His presence there is fullness of joy! It is good to know that God is omnipresent/always present! If He is always present then the fullness of joy is accessible!! Choose to embrace it today! As the song says: This joy of mine the world didn’t give it to me. The world didn’t give it, and the world can’t take it away.

Last night, our boys football team had the opportunity to play in the state championship game. It poured down rain the entire night. Both teams came into the game undefeated. It truly was a battle for “the crown”.

So many people made “the game”what it was, all season long! Coaches, players, cheerleaders dancers. videographers, managers, parents, grandparents, faculty, family and fans. As I gazed across the arena through my rain spotted glasses🤓 I saw a large crowd with great expectations!
Our team did not come out as the winner on the field, but in the eyes of The King…”You did your thing”
He is pleased when we show up with “something to bring”!

Solomon wrote: Proverbs 18:16 “A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. This could be a “great opportunity” or “a great crowd of expectation.”

The wise men had an opportunity to bring their gifts to The New Born King! Bring your authentic self to “The King” today!

Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
(Ps 24:8–10)

This is the week of “Thanksgiving”, and I am ‘giving Thanks’ that My God is “mighty in battle”!

I am giving Him thanks this morning for the battles He has brought me through! Thinking back on the year, and those gone by, I am mindful of the victories! The text calls Him “The Lord Almighty - He is the King of glory.”

The challenge for me is to shout the victory in the midst of the battle. Often, I am ducking javelins and shrapnel of the enemy and cannot see beyond my shield or through my helmet. 😳 When we are in the middle of the battle, we forget who is fighting on the frontlines on our my behalf!

Take a moment and adjust your armor with a prayer of protection and thanksgiving for the Lord’s angelic army.

Remember: He is The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”

Giving Him the glory! ❤️🙏🏾 Doc

“For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High, he will not be shaken.
Your hand will lay hold on Your enemies; Your right hand will seize Your foes.” (Palm 21:7-8)

This morning on a prayer call, I was reminded that the Lord gives us the victory after a battle. There’s no victory unless we’ve been in the battle. The good news for you and I is to trust God’s unfailing love to show up in the fight!
We will not be shaken, no matter what the battle brings. The victory belongs to the king of Kings!

It’s God’s enemy who is coming after us! So…let’s use His weapons and His angelic army to fight on our behalf! He knows the way we take and what it will take to give us the victory! Our job, like David in this psalm, is to put our trust in the Lord and his unfailing love!
Remember, your battle belongs to The Lord!

Letting him fight for me! 💪🏽

“ Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. he answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.” Psalm 20:6

Yesterday I was believing God for the grace to walk in the supernatural poise of “kingdom forgiveness.” Well… I did experience the peace of God instead of the lingering frustration of being offended! GLORY that’s a step.

On a prayer call this morning, I shared the verse above and was reminded God HAS given us the victory even when we don’t feel victorious! Remember, we are God’s anointed:

“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. “ 1John 2:20
The anointing supernaturally enables us to do something with ease that would naturally be difficult 😣

Walking in my anointing and victory today as I pray!

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense. (Pr 19:11)

Back in the day, people would say, “Read a proverb a day keeps the devil away, oh my!” That verse there!! I read it in the message translation, and it says it this way:

Smart people know how to hold their tongue; their grandeur is to forgive and forget. (Pr 19:11)

I’m asking the Lord today to make this real in my life. Mankind has become good at using microaggressions to get their way. A dig here, a slight there, and somehow never asking forgiveness. 😳

The Kingdom way is to be quick to repent (think different), quick to forgive, and ask for grace to forget. I need the grace to act as though it never happened. This takes the peace and poise of God! I’m praying for that kind of peace today. How about you?

Poise - acting with or showing thought for the future

David said: Teach me Your ways, Oh Lord! …me too!

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
(1 Pe 1:8).

Good morning!

I wanted to share this verse with you hoping it blesses you as it did me this morning! Peter was writing to fellow believers some who had walked with Jesus and seen Him in the days of His earthly journey and others who had come to know The resurrected Christ by faith.

These “children of God” were currently going through a difficult time of persecution!
Peter’s encouragement was to set their minds on The One who had saved their souls and the inexpressible “JOY” of knowing the One who first loved us! It is in worship, in His presence where there is fullness of joy! Psalm 16:11

When life be “lifen” press into His presence! We don’t have to have a dissertation, or know all the scriptures of the Bible, but…we do need to Know the One True God and His Son! Allow The Holy Spirit to fill you as you rest in God’s throne room of grace! There is always room for us in that space!

A beautiful day to watch football, and not on my sofa. I had the opportunity to spend time with a former student Derek Barnett and his family last night for dinner, and today a great seat at the game to watch him play. God is good and it has been a good weekend! As an educator I am reminded to stay focused on the task! You can count the number of seeds in an apple but never the apples in a seed. Keep on sowing! God knows God sees!
