🌲 REAL TREE – the smell, the tradition, the needles everywhere
🎄 FAKE TREE – fluff once, enjoy all season, zero mess

I was only 1 during the blizzard.🥶 Tell me your stories! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

❄️ Snow is in the forecast and temps are dropping below freezing… which brings back memories of the Blizzard of ’78 — especially here in Franklin. ❄️

If you were living in Franklin during the Blizzard of 1978, what do you remember most?

🏠 What was it like right here in town?
• Did your home or business lose power — and for how long?
• How did Franklin families stay warm? Fireplaces, wood stoves, bundling up?
• What were you eating when roads were shut down and stores were hard to get to?
• How long were Franklin schools closed?
• Were downtown streets completely buried?
• Do you remember neighbors helping neighbors or businesses stepping in?

Some people remember the quiet, the snow piled high, and families huddled together. Others remember the fear, the cold, and just how isolated Franklin felt for days.
