If you’re headed to PumpkinFest today, make sure to stop by the Franklin Chili Cook-Off at the Bicentennial Pavilion from 11 AM to 3 PM! 🌶️
The Franklin Fire Fighters Association and the Franklin Rotary Club at Breakfast have revived a long-standing tradition — a friendly competition to see who has the tastiest chili. Six restaurants and six civic organizations will cook for the title of Best Chili, voted on by event participants!
There will also be activities for kids and co****le for the adults. Don’t miss this fun community event!

“Art is anything you put your love into,” she says. “It could be the garden; it could be cooking. Many things could be your art.”

Art can live anywhere—on a canvas, in a kitchen, or in a backyard garden. For Franklin artist Emily Allison, creativity is about giving new life to forgotten things. Her whimsical sculptures, crafted from recycled paper, old dishes, and “junk” she can’t resist saving, capture the beauty in everyday objects and remind us to see the ordinary with fresh eyes.

We need someone who can lift up to 25 pounds at a time; has a vehicle with a clean driving record and available to work on the weekends and evenings as required. This involves delivering magazines throughout the month, with over 300 racks and locations. Hourly pay - NOT FULL TIME - Approx. 20 hours a month of work .

A new chapter is underway for FrankTown Open Hearts as they break ground on their future home, which will provide a space designed to empower and equip the next generation.

With more than $7 million raised toward their $9 million goal, this milestone marks years of dedication and community support.

The new facility will feature specialized spaces for automotive training, culinary arts and other essential life skills, each designed to prepare young people for success beyond the classroom.

Williamson Health’s newest fall guardians are dressed in hand-crocheted outfits lovingly crafted by Debi Reynolds from Williamson Health’s EMS team. They are ready to protect the orchards and fields brimming with apples, pumpkins, corn and all the fresh produce that inspires delicious fall dishes.
