from my diary to your hands, my sophomore album “Diary of a Twenty Something” is now yours♥️
I started writing this album 6 years ago as an early twenty something, having no idea how to navigate becoming an adult. The joys and the lows were overwhelming, and I was supposed to hold it all simultaneously. So from 2020-2023 I started writing & recording these songs as a way to process all the emotions of growing up. And until now, they lived in my notes app and my producer’s computer lol. But now as a 26 year old who has settled into adulthood a bit more, became a wife, and now a mom, it was more important to me than ever that I went back to finish the album. I want my son to grow up seeing that it’s never too late to chase the dreams God puts on your heart. So I’ve spent the last year finishing the album & deep diving into the stories that grew up with me. I hope these songs remind you that you aren’t alone in all the complex emotions that come with becoming an adult: the joy, the excitement, the heartbreak, the healing, the fun, and the uncertainty. So whether you need to dance, cry, laugh, rage or simply feel seen, there’s a song on this album for you. & I hope I have the honor of writing some of the soundtracks to your own story, as this album has been and is the soundtrack to mine♥️
his album would not have happened without all the incredible collaborators I’ve worked with!!! A ton of this album is real instruments, which is becoming more rare in pop music these days. In the rise of ai, it’s so important to continue to find ways to work with real people, real talents, & real creatives more than ever!!! So if you need a musician, producer, cowriter, ect pls check out some of these talented people!!! 🙌🙌🙌
Production/mixing/mastering/piano/co-writer:
My incredible friend & the genius behind the production of this album. If it weren’t for Nolan, these songs would not exist how they do. He is behind the magical sounds in all of these songs. We’ve made a lot of music together over the last 8 years but is by far my favorite thing we’ve collaborated on. Everyone say thank you Nolan for the best pop beats ever of all timeeee!!!!!
