Waiting for Lester Records Waiting for Lester Records is a Frederick, MD based record label specializing in Americana, bluegrass, and country music. Owned and operated by Jason Hannan.

Waiting for Lester Records was founded out of a desire to create opportunities and avenues for recording and radio airplay for local and regional artists in the Washington, DC area and beyond. Our mission is to create a collaborative environment for up and coming singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists. Waiting for Lester Records features an in-house studio, audio production, and graphic design

Hey, Wild Aster wants you to quit your day job!! Wanna know why? Listen to their new single! No seriously, Wild Aster has a new song out, their first cover AND Michael J. Stone's debut as a lead vocalist! It's a cover of John Hartford's "In Tall Buildings".

This song delves into the perils of working your life away and seeing everything else pass you by and man, does Michael deliver on a heartfelt vocal. He also plays guitar and mandolin and is ably supported by Casey Haberman on dobro and Dominica Knapp on banjo. Jason Hannan plays bass and produced this one. We hope you'll enjoy and give it a share!
