Zax Trax is re-opening. Recording to 24 track Alesis hard disk 24 track recorder. Mixing to Sound Forge on PC. Headphone system is currently one mix, but most people seem to play fine with that.But that is the reason I am keeping my rates at $35.00 an hour for the moment.Quality of recordings is excelent.. We have a large room, drum set, bass amp, and soon in the future we will have 3 or 4 vintage tube amps for gtr and bass. Plus we do have the option of renting some high class gear at an extra cost. Book your time now, because when the renovations are done, rates are going up to at least $50.00 an hour. We've been here since 1986 and have recorded many of the areas hottest acts, including a few that got signed off our demos. We look forward to serving you.

I don't know my password so at this time, I can't change this page. But I do plan on re-opening with modern computer gear and a beautiful headphone system, and still the largest room in the area, plus a couple good vintage tube amps, a Leslies and an M-100 organ, great drum set, lots of off the wall instruments and percussion. We will once again have the best sound around. No more surprise visiters and all the other city distractions. Please give us another chance. Ready in February, 2016. Phone-301-305-8706. Thanks.
