One third of the Republican Club display has been ripped down by an unidentified individual, according to campus security.
Around 7:45, commotion began to occur as an individual who had been previously viewing the poster proceeded to enter the conference room and remove the poster from the inside.
The man removed one third and began to remove another before he was stopped and escorted out by campus security.
Three members of the Republican club were present during the occurrence.
"It's a shame we have to protect our display from vigilantes like him. They whole school will be heralding him tomorrow," said Brice McAndrew, vice president of the club.
The display is now being guarded by a campus security officer.
