12 years ago, we interviewed Wes Johnson for one of our shows at MAGFest. After the interview, we realized he'd left a packet of papers in our hotel room. We quickly reached back out and met him at the hotel restaurant. Without thinking twice, Wes invited us to join him for dinner, we had discussions about hockey and Star Wars. This was our first experience with this wonder of a man.
From that first encounter and every one since, Wes always took the time to greet us and catch up. Even though he sees and speaks to thousands of people on a monthly basis, he's always made time whenever we stopped by to say hello. His warmth and candor have always been a joy at many events we've seen him at.
Wes Johnson is one of the most kind-hearted people we've ever met. He is a paragon, a jester, a font of knowledge and more humble than most. If you loved his calls for the Washington Capitals or his many voices in the The Elder Scrolls series, Wes Johnson, our friend, our Con-Father needs us now more than ever.
