Last month brought more inventory, slightly higher home prices, and a little more time to make a decision. Here’s what happened in Frederick County’s housing market in August.
• 299 homes sold, down 4.5% from August 2025
• 362 new listings, down 8.4% year over year
• 770 active listings, up 8.9% from last August
• Median sold price: $525,000, up 2.7% year over year
• Average sold price: $572,080, up 2.4%
• 2.52 months of supply, up 5.3% from last year
• Homes spent a median of 25 days on the market, compared with 19 days a year ago
