This week in Northern Michigan! ADJ•ective New Music is proud to share the premiere of Cynthia Van Maanen and Thomas Child’s newly published and co-composed work “transformational landscape.” Originally written for the PBS architecture show “Songs About Buildings and Moods” produced by Seth Boustead, this work has now been arranged for Viridian Strings who will be premiering it this Thursday at The Alluvion in Traverse City, MI at 7pm, and performing it again at the Oliver Art Center in Frankfurt, MI on Friday at 7pm. Michael Rene Torres and Erin Helgeson Torres have been performing together since 2007 and focus on the music of living composers.
