I’ve had to officially break up with an old holiday favorite, and I didn’t expect it to feel like this.

Brian McKnight’s Home for the Holidays used to be MY song. I sang it. I performed it. I cherished it.

But once you learn who a man really is 😖especially how he treats his children 😖the music stops sounding beautiful.

It starts sounding… revealing.

And tell me why so many narcissistic fathers have the EXACT same tone of voice?
That haughty, nasally, self-righteous cadence.
That “I’m the victim” energy.
That suspicious political lean.

Black women deserve a holiday season rooted in peace, not confusion.
