Menno School Board of Education vote for two vacancies: Brett Guthmiller 271, Joel Rempfer 205, Kathleen Wollmann 157.

Rempfer is the incumbent and Guthmiller and Wollmann were both challengers.

Voter turnout: 33.95%

Maurice Waltner wins re-election for Hutchinson County Sheriff over challenger Barron Nankivel 1,321 to 283; Waltner won 82% of the vote with overwhelming victories in all six Hutchinson County precincts.

Menno's Memorial Day observance is being moved from the Menno City Cemetery to the city/school auditorium (old gym). Program starts at 10:30 a.m., to be followed by a lunch sponsored by Menno High School band.
