Meet the Owner!

Hello there! I am Sylvia Shelton, one of the owners and designers behind Alaqua Bay Designs LLC.

What started as the hobby of a SAHM in 2022 has blossomed into a Teacher/Veteran owned business. With a passion to make life easier for educators, memorable for parents, and fun for kids, Alaqua Bay Designs was born.

I served in the Army where I met my Active Duty husband, Kyle. He is soon to retire from the Army as we are embarking on this journey together with our 4 children and fur-baby. Freeport has been our home for the last 4 years and we plan to stay long-term.
