Superheated 2025
Your tax dollars at work.
Freeport Generosity at its Finest!

🎉👏 Congrats to our NEW leadership — City Manager, Mrs. Danielle Kelly & City Attorney, Mr. Chris Duncan! 👏🎉

We still have some cleaning up to do, but tonight is about celebrating these two.

For the first time, we’ve got a couple of PROS at the helm — not some cherry-picked puppet for City Manager. And now we’ve got arguably the best attorney in Brazoria County in Chris Duncan. ⚖️🔥

Let’s not forget… Duncan was the one who led the legal arguments showing the East End could have been saved — and WON in court. But ambitious county insiders (you know… those whose names rhyme with Crooksy Bass, and Brimage 👀) were ready to sell Freeport down the “Brazos River” for $400k and a demolished OA Fleming High School.

But I digress… 😅

Much more change is coming.
We STILL have to clean up City Hall. 🧹🏛️

There are at least 3 department heads that need to go… and other staff who failed drug tests that gotta go too. 🚫💊

But hear me clearly:

We can Walk, Chew Gum, Clean House, AND Make Freeport the Best Freeport Ever — all at the same time. 💪🏽✨

We didn't get hear by being soft.. it required tough truths and required firings!

And don’t believe for a second that just because we have new staff, the job is done.
It’s the opposite.

Just because we got rid of the murderous and corrupt rats 🐀❌ doesn’t mean we stop being diligent. We MUST demand transparency and smart use of tax dollars. That means:

🔻 Serious cuts
🧮 Doing real math
🚫 No chasing wish-list dreams without funding verification
⚓ Keeping the Port & local industries accountable to pay their fair share

Above all — we need a City Hall that:
✔️ Works for YOU
✔️ Can be TRUSTED
✔️ Serves EVERYONE (not just the well-connected getting alleys and streets paid FOR in return for quid pro quos.)

We still have waste to clean up — including at the EDC — and yes, Olson & Olson must go.

Their failures with City Counci are the reason they were terminated … and those failures continue.

Receipts are coming. 📄👀

But now, let’s talk vision. 🌅

💡 What’s Next for Freeport

🌴 Beach Plan: Over $2M in untapped revenue.
🏭 Industrial taxes: Millions in unpaid revenue — time to collect.
🏗️ New development: Freeport is OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Jobs: Good jobs.
Mom-and-Pop support. EDC funding where it matters.
🏘️ Housing we can actually control, on city-owned land:

OA Fleming

The Riverfront

Off Skinner

Off 2nd Street (old Community House)

The Golf Course

Reimagining City Hall

Moving baseball fields to Skinner’s 19 acres → creating Riverfront apartments

Revisiting the grocery store, rec center & 2nd Street apartments

⚽🏟️ Sports Complex:
Even if not full-scale, we MUST get baseball & soccer fields usable for our kids.

There’s so much more ahead.
More to come. Get ready. 🚀🔥

Vote YES For Our Officers. And vote to remove George Matamorass for his continued attacks on the Police Association, lack of physical self control during council meetings, his angry temper tantrum outbursts against residents, and his abuses of authority against our officers with investigations intended to intimidate ... just like Cain n Petty.

📣 Your Voice. Your Vote. Our Future.📣

On November 4, 2025, Freeport residents will have the opportunity to make a historic decision: whether to grant Civil Service protection to your Freeport Police Officers.

Civil Service isn’t about politics, it’s about protecting public safety. It ensures that our officers are hired, promoted, and retained based on merit, not favoritism. It provides stability, accountability, and fairness, which helps us keep experienced officers here in Freeport instead of losing them to other cities.

🗳️ Early Voting: October 20th – October 31st
👮‍♂️ A vote YES for Civil Service means a safer, stronger Freeport.
👮‍♀️ A vote YES means protecting the officers who protect you.

✅ On November 4th, stand with Freeport Police and make your voice heard.
Together, we can secure the future of our community.

🚨 .. oh yeah.. our PD got Screwed Out of their Raises by Hangry George Matamorass … 🚨

Let me be very clear 👇

👮‍♂️ The Police Department had to beg and fight for a 5.5% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) — just to keep up with inflation.

Pena and Davis pushed for 6%... the full amount our Guys in Blue were actually owed!

Then it was seemingly agreed upon.. by majority.

But then… 🐷💤 Fat, Lazy & Stupid Matamorass and 🤥 Careless Cain decided to SCREW our Police Officers —
just to clock out early on the 2025–2026 Budget Meeting.

🗳️ The vote?

Matamorass voted AGAINST the PD’s COLA.

😒 George sat in the corner pouting and stewing in silence until Cain signaled him not to vote against the PD.

🤦‍♂️ Jerry tried to cover for Matamorass…
But it didn't matter.. bc only minutes later, they couldnt help themselves..and those two clowns voted to END budget discussions early — the job they were literally elected to do!

💭 Did they forget their MAIN responsibility was to make sure the City DOESN’T waste money?!

❌ Result: The PD lost their full 6% COLA — thanks to Cain & Matamorass’ laziness and total disregard for our police.

Meanwhile… 🏛️
Their lazy brains gave the Museum Staff 💰 $12,000 in raises — ON TOP of the all city staff COLA — adding to their salaries around another 10% each! So they effectively got a ~15% Raise.

Who cares.. its not George's or Jerry's money... just give it away..

They will just raise water rates and lower services at museum and rec center. Wtf?!

😤 The Museum now wastes $300K on salaries.
⚠️ The Museum is not even an Essential Service.

👮‍♀️ The PD IS!!

But Lazy Potato 🥔 Matamorass & Crooked 🐍 Cain screwed them anyway.

---

💪 After all the hard work Davis & Peña did to meet with the PD and support the max COLA — we voted for it to be added to new budget... all for naught..

Nah.. we gonna let everyone know how George repeatedly fails doing what he was elected to do.

🎥 Watch the video — George didn’t vote..🤦🏻

Even after being browbeaten into going along with Council by Crooked Cain, he still turned around and screwed the PD because he was too lazy and hangry to stick it out with the rest of Council and do his damn job.
Resign!

---

⚖️ So now I’ll be introducing a Budget Amendment to ensure the PD gets the full 6% COLA they earned.

💸 Unfortunately, the funds were already wasted on the Museum — but that’s another story…

🎙️ Coming soon on the next podcast:
“Fat Waste & Abuses by Lazy and Stupid Councilmen” — where more receipts will drop.
