Hope you all had a great Fourth! 🇺🇸💥

I went to two cookouts this year, did a lot of cooking… and somehow got almost zero pictures!

Cowboy caviar, an orzo pasta salad, and a layered taco dip were the dishes I brought, and thankfully they were a hit! (I’ll do better with pictures next time! 😬)

But I also accidentally walked into a pasta salad competition.

If you know me, you know I love two things in the summer: cowboy caviar and pasta salad, so I was in heaven!😂

Now I have to know… what’s the one dish that HAS to be at your family cookout? I’m always looking for new ideas!

This salad had a bit of an identity crisis. 😂

The original plan was peaches, goat cheese, and pistachios.

…then Instacart brought nectarines instead of peaches.

So I pivoted!

Somewhere along the way, I accidentally made a caprese-inspired arugula salad.

Arugula, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, capers, and an easy homemade dressing.

Update: I did end up making the original salad too… and it’s so good. 😂 Safe to say they’ll both be making it into the rotation this summer.

A moment for the butter please 🧈🤤

Never thought I’d be telling people they need to make a stop for butter… but here we are 😂

Landmark Creamery & Cafe is tucked away in the tiny town of Paoli, WI and has quickly become one of my favorite little finds.

The sandwich was delicious, but somehow the fresh butter I brought home became the thing I can’t stop talking about!

They also have cheese, coffee, ice cream, and a little market (which is exactly how the butter came home with me lol)

It’s located in a building that’s been part of Wisconsin dairy history since 1888. How cool is that?!

It’s part of Seven Acre Dairy Company, which also has Little Cloud Restaurant. That one is officially added to my “need to try” list.

Tiny towns + really good food will get me every time.

Definitely worth repeating 🫶🏼

The top that survived every closet cleanout finally got her moment 😅

She’s been here since the early Simply Jordan days and I’ve worn her approximately… twice lol

Turns out she was just waiting for wide leg jeans + leopard sandals (another closet cleanout survivor)

Sometimes old favorites just need a new era.

Please tell me someone else has clothes they keep for years because “one day” 😂😬

I realized I’ve always loved sharing the things I get excited about. They just aren’t always hanging in my closet anymore.
