❄️ Winter Camp | Kindergartner – Winter Landscape ❄️

Our kindergartner had a wonderful winter-themed learning experience! We started with a freeze dance warm-up, helping build focus, listening skills, and self-regulation through movement 💃❄️

For art, she painted a beautiful watercolor winter landscape, exploring shades of blue and creating depth in her snowy scene 🎨✨

During craft time, she created a snowflake using pipe cleaners, strengthening fine motor skills and creativity.

We wrapped up with a worksheet activity, counting winter objects and reinforcing early math and observation skills 🔢❄️

A meaningful blend of movement, creativity, and learning — winter learning made joyful! 💙

✨ Winter Camp | Day 1 ✨

We kickstarted our Winter Camp with so much joy, movement, and creativity! 🎄❄️

We always begin our class with a warm-up, because it helps children transition into the learning space, release extra energy, and get their bodies and minds ready to focus. Today, our warm-up was extra special as we danced to “Jingle Bells” using instruments — moving, shaking, and smiling together! 🎶🔔

We then settled down for a cozy storytime, reading about Rudolph the Reindeer and Christmas ornaments, which helped build listening skills, imagination, and holiday excitement 📖✨

After that, it was time for hands-on creativity!
🎨 The children painted a Christmas tree and decorated it with colorful pom-pom ornaments.
✂️ They then made their own Christmas ornaments using pipe cleaners — a Christmas tree and a candy cane, tied beautifully with ribbon.

To wrap up, we worked on our worksheet activity, dotting numbers with dot markers — strengthening fine motor skills and number recognition in a fun way 🎅🔢

A perfect blend of movement, literacy, art, craft, and early learning — what a wonderful way to begin our Winter Camp! 💫
