Really excited to share that I've launched my first Broadcast Channel on Instagram!

I wanted to create a space that allows me to share all the unfiltered, behind-the-scenes content of my life. From filming setups and creator wins to editing tips and brand deal negotiations, this is a BTS channel for those who care about the journey, not just the highlight reel.

This was a HUGE moment for me🥹

I've struggled to maintain a constant flow of videos largely due to feeling the need to compartmentalize my life for "The Algo." My main channel featured interviews with high-profile creators, particularly within the AANHPI community since 2010, so I felt the need to create another channel, TechNicki Speaking, when I wanted to "nerd out," on all the tech gadgets & camera gear I was using in my workflow. NGL, it felt good to know that I was able to hit the requirements needed to be in the YouTube Partner Program pretty quickly by my own merits, and not feeling like it was because of the person I was interviewing.

But the everyday analysis paralysis of figuring out what channel to upload to was really starting to wear me down, especially the videos where it teetered on that defining line.

It was after multiple helpful & highly insightful conversations with my talent manager friends & reps (thanks Mylen Yamamoto Tansingco, Andrew Dinh, IX Brightman!), and pulling a page from iJustine herself (who had SEVEN different channels before cutting it down to just the ONE), that I realized I wanted to regroup, recenter, "relaunch," and move forward with ONE channel.

Because...I am ALL of these identities, and being on both sides of the camera is a part of who I am. I can interview creators about their creative process while also showing you mine 🤯

Not mind-blowing when I think about it now, but it truly unlocked something in me in that moment. And I'm moving forward in a way that only comes after years of persistence and a key discovery.
