Fender added some awesome bass-specific features to the Tone Master Pro, so we gave it a second look, and boy, howdy! It is a game-changer for us bass players!

Thanks to Fender’s commitment and dedication to further build-out, I’m happy to now be able to recommend Tone Master Pro to bassists and guitarists alike! The Tone Master Pro has something for everyone.

• Gestures with footswitches are re-worked.
• Smarter keyboard input with full whitespace support.

Some of you may have seen the news that the Chinese manufacturer Cosonic International (which is in turn owned by Jiahe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.) has purchased beyerdynamic, which has been a family owned German company for over 100 years. I was pleased to receive (unsolicited) both emails and telephone calls from my contacts at Beyerdynamic to help further explain this. In addition to confirming the news, they did pass on some interesting information.

Rich Campbell, the Managing Director for Beyerdynamic North America, confirmed that the core and professional level products will continue to be designed and manufactured in Germany. He also told me that the leadership team is largely remaining unchanged. While I am sure that there will be some changes (and perhaps additional offerings) in the more consumer-based Beyerdynamic products, it is good to know that we shouldn't expect to see any changes on the "pro" side of things.

We are actually working on several Beyerdynamic reviews at the moment, and we will be sure to address this new development in the context of these reviews.

Again, I would like to thank Beyerdynamic for reaching out to help keep the story straight.
