Opened in 1883, this Bolton Landing hotel is known for opulence, history and some spooky lore.

Lots of stories of the paranormal originate on the golf course ⛳️, including full-bodied apparitions.

There’ve been fires, tragedies and a long line of influential people to stay and leave their mark. If you see a lady in a blue polka dot dress who disappears suddenly, that’s another sighting people have witnessed. 👗

Enjoy Lake George and the gorgeous views from the property of the allegedly haunted Sagamore Resort.

Some Monday decay. 📍Rutland Prison Camp, now ruins for hiking on/in/around.

1903 it was built, abandoned by ‘34 due to bad water drainage issues. But men sustained a farm (mostly 🥔) there for a few decades before it was left to rot.

It’s a weird little old bando find in the woods of Massachusetts.

Ghosts and one of the kindest hosts in one of the best historic homes you can visit with an incredible collection and gallery of Twain’s life. 🤘🏼👻📚

📍Evergreen Cemetery • Gettysburg, PA

Established in 1853, this private cemetery is historic and continues with modern burials today. The Union Army defended themselves during the battle of Gettysburg thanks to the monuments and the landscape that provided cover. Marks and blemishes on the older stones are still visible from the artillery used.

Elizabeth Thorn, caretaker during the battle while her husband was enlisted, took on the task of digging scores of graves with her father after the fighting stopped. All while 6 months pregnant. Her statue stands just inside the cemetery entrance.

This is where you can find the memorials for many names famous during the battle, including civilian Jennie Wade.
