A reminder that tomorrow, March 31, is the Cubmaster Training at the Methodist Church in Madera (500 Sunset Ave). We will begin at 10.00 am and it is expected to last a few hours. Youth Protection Training will be given as well.

With a heavy heart we share news that Fred D. Iverson has passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was 75 years old. Rest in Peace Fred.

All, we have a very special District Meeting this month!

As usual, we will be discussing many very important things including upcoming events and changes and opportunities in Scouting.

However, for this month only, we are meeting in a new venue! We will be meeting at the Madera County Sheriff’s Department! (Address and directions below)

Also, we have a slightly expanded schedule:

6:00 PM – Preliminary Camporee Meeting

6:30 PM – District Committee Meeting

7:30 PM (or immediately following District Meeting – Pack 116 Strategy Meeting.

This promises to be a busy but interesting evening for all of us, and we’re looking forward to seeing you or your representatives there.

And, as always, thank you for all you do for Scouting!
