As America celebrates its 250th Anniversary, 25 Songs of Christmas is launching the Holiday Road Playlist Songwriting Contest 2026, a national search for original Christmas songs celebrating the people, places, traditions, and stories that make Christmas in America unforgettable.

We are inviting songwriters and holiday music creators from across the country to share their original Christmas songs.

Selected finalists will receive:

🎄 National recognition as one of 25 finalists

📺 Featured in the Holiday Road Playlist web series

📺 Television exposure through Houston Media Source and APR TV

💿 Consideration for the 2027 Holiday Road Playlist Compilation Album

©️ Full ownership of their music remains with the songwriter

We believe your voice and creativity represent the kind of storytelling this project celebrates.

Whether you submit an original song or simply share this opportunity with your songwriting community, we would be honored to have you join us in creating America’s Christmas soundtrack.

I just won the Participant Recognition Prize for the CTNF Rogers Allers Legacy Scholarship in the category of Librettist. And what is this prize? This prize is connected with Disney Theatrical the company that produces, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast and other Disney Musicals I get a workshop mentorship with the likes of Sir Tim Rice.Not a bad way to start a weekend
