In the operating room on a tiny atoll in the Pacific, I had the privilege of filming something extraordinary. A team of orthopedic surgeons traveled thousands of miles to Majuro in the Marshall Islands, offering life-changing surgeries—total knee replacements, shoulder repairs, and upper extremity procedures—all completely free for the local community. As a documentary photographer, I was there to capture more than just the scalpel and sutures—I was there to tell the story of hope, healing, and humanity. Every frame is a testament to what happens when people use their skills to give back. Grateful to witness it all from behind the camera.
