In my 20s, I owned a 1969 chevy truck, and anytime I had to drive at night was an exciting endeavor. The lights on this truck had old school bulbs, and even if I bought new ones, they only illuminated a short distance in front of me. Isn’t this just like God, showing us only steps of our path? When driving at night, I had two choices: either drive faster than I was comfortable with or slow down and let the light illuminate what I could not see.
•
Darkness will always exist until He decides to bring us home, but in our time here on earth, we are to be carriers of this amazing light that we’ve been given. Don’t underestimate the path you’re on. Embrace it and fight for it because, just like the song says, “even when you don’t see it, He’s working.”
•
