The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the central and fundamental foundation of Christianity, not some man made “truth” centered on secondary teachings. It is so easy to get caught up in teachings that claim to be “truth” and calls itself “truth” while degrading others as having wrong motives while simultaneously shifting the focus away from the gospel itself to promote their flavor or Christianity.

The centeral focus of the gospel isn’t human depravity, it isn’t spiritual gifts, it isn’t predestination, it isn’t Calvinism, it isn’t Arminianism, it isn’t cessationism or continuationism, it isn’t complementarianism or egalitarianism, it isn’t baptism, it isn’t communion, it isn’t fellowship, it isn’t prayer, It isn’t fasting, it isn’t healing, it isn’t casting out demons or many other secondary rabbit trails you could go down.

The gospel of Jesus Christ should be the center foundation of any Christian institution, not some secondary teachings being prioritized by men.

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.”
