Tragic Accident in Chachoengsao: Family of Three Killed by Pickup Truck Running Red Light

Chachoengsao – A heartbreaking accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. on August 14, 2025, at the Phanom Sarakham intersection, when a speeding pickup truck ran a red light and collided with a motorcycle carrying a family of three.

Emergency responders from Phanom Sarakham Police Station, Phanom Sarakham Hospital, and the local rescue unit rushed to the scene.

At the site, the motorcycle was found completely destroyed, torn into two pieces. The young daughter, identified as Miss Kannayaree, age 4, was discovered lying on the sidewalk with a faint pulse. Rescue workers immediately performed CPR in an attempt to save her.

Her mother, Ms. Orauma, age 27, was pronounced dead at the scene. The father, Mr. Anon, age 35, was found nearby in critical condition. Both he and the child were rushed to Phanom Sarakham Hospital, but tragically, despite medical efforts, their lives could not be saved.

The pickup truck involved was found at the intersection with severe front-end damage. CCTV footage revealed that the motorcycle had been crossing the intersection on a green light when the pickup truck sped through a red light and crashed into them at high speed, causing sparks before throwing the victims violently to the ground.

This devastating incident claimed the lives of all three family members, leaving the community in deep sorrow.
