What a spectacular weekend of poetry, workshops, and spoken word! Thanks to the grant for Emerging Organizations, we were able to invite to share some secrets of his poetic craft and headline a life changing evening of spoken word. We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to get to expose our rural island community to authors such as Buddy. A profound thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn from and experience the wonder and rawness of one of the true giants of spoken word poetry.
