EMF track and field competed in the C6 district May 15. Automatic qualifiers are Tyrell Fennell in the 100m and 200m and Aniston Meints in the 300 hurdles and high jump. Additional qualifiers will be officially announced tomorrow.

-Faith Elkins qualifies in 100M Hurdles and 100M Dash

Mary Ann Losh, president of the Friend History Society, shares the 2025 goals at their annual Gala this evening. The historical society is focused on restoring the Warren Building and Opera House, which has, and is, been done in phases. The focus now is moving upstairs with a ramp. The opera house will seat over 200 people when completed. A grant has been awarded to start work upstairs but more funding is needed to complete the project.

It was not the ending the EMF Bobcats wanted.

The team, playing at state for the first time, came in as the No. 5 seed and played No. 4 Summerland, also the Bobcats. Summerland outscored EMF in the paint 36-30, off turnovers 27-17 and on fast breaks 18-4 en route to a 68-55 win.
