Working at animal shelters has been increasingly more difficult as weather-related power outages are becoming more frequent and severe in Texas. Animal Services staff has faced challenges keeping the animals clean and climate controlled in facilities with no power.

Frisco ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on a policy requiring students to use the bathroom that corresponds with the gender they were assigned at birth. The vote was forced by the two board members endorsed by a PAC called Families 4 Frisco.

Pride Frisco hosted a community kite-flying event with the goal of creating an affirming space for the LGBTQIA community in Frisco. The event was held at Frisco Commons park. Arts & crafts, as well as pizza, were provided. Pride Frisco is a charity organization.

Musicians perform in Plano for a cancer research fundraiser in tribute to a young victim. They performed at II Brothers Grill & Bar. Funds went to an organization called The Cure Starts Now which raises money for childhood cancer research.
