Before hiring someone to sell your home, ask what happens after your listing goes live.

How are showings monitored?

How is buyer feedback collected?

What happens when online attention isn’t becoming in-person tours?

How will you know what’s working?

And how often will you hear from your agent?

Putting a property online is one step in the selling process.

You deserve to understand the plan that comes after it.

If you’re interviewing agents, save this post and ask these questions.

Sellers spend a lot of time thinking about one number: the offer.

But an accepted offer may not be the last important number in a financed transaction.

The appraisal can become another part of the process.

That’s why I want sellers to understand what happens after an offer is accepted, before they’re standing in the middle of it wondering what comes next.

Your selling plan should cover more than getting your home listed.

You should understand the road from listing day through closing day.

Getting your home under contract is a big milestone.

There are still important parts of the transaction ahead.

Depending on your sale, that can include disclosures, inspections, appraisal, buyer financing, documents, deadlines and the final walk-through.

This part of selling a home doesn’t always get much attention on social media.

It should.

Because finding a buyer is one part of the job.

Helping the transaction move from accepted offer to closing matters too.

Does buyer activity change after summer ends in Frisco and Collin County? It can.
Early-summer buyers may be focused on school, employment, lease, or relocation deadlines. Late-summer and early-fall buyers may spend more time comparing listings, reviewing price changes, and negotiating terms.
The Texas Real Estate Research Center’s Summer 2026 housing outlook described growing supply, affordability pressure, and reduced seller pricing power. A listing strategy may need to change as buyer behavior changes.
Have you noticed a difference between summer and fall buyers in your neighborhood?

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes when you sell a home.

Some of it starts before a buyer ever makes an offer.

Ownership information, deeds, taxes, restrictions, easements and possible liens may need attention as part of the transaction.

A seller doesn’t want to discover an unexpected issue when everyone is already trying to get to the closing table.

This is one reason preparation matters.

Selling isn’t only about putting up a sign and finding a buyer.

There is an entire transaction that has to make it to closing.

Thinking about selling?

DM me CHECKLIST and let’s talk about what you should know before your home hits the market.

Thinking about relocating to Dallas? You’re going to adore the lively community and local happenings, such as the Perot Museum's latest installation, “Soccer: More Than a Game.” Since our city was a primary host for international soccer, this display keeps that momentum going.

You’re able to measure your personal kicking strength, sharpen your reflexes, and learn about the biomechanics of a perfect strike. It also includes a player tunnel and locker room simulation for a completely immersive visit. Catch the exhibit through January 4th for a high-energy way to enjoy the sport.

Dallas provides incredible opportunities for both individuals and families.
