Feeling stuck or invisible?

You're not alone.

I've been there too, but turning pain into purpose is possible.

Join me on a journey of serving others to find your true calling.

08/11/2025

You won't believe this.
ChatGPT interviewed me.
And it asked the question every jobseeker needs answered:

“How do you get noticed by recruiters?”

(Save this post.)

If you’re a job seeker,

Here’s how to get recruiters chasing you.

Most job seekers think the game is about sending out more applications.

But here’s the truth: If no one knows you exist, you’re invisible.

Getting noticed isn’t luck. It’s marketing.

And yes, the product is YOU.

Think about it:

A resume? It’s a piece of marketing.
Your LinkedIn profile? Marketing.
Your content? Marketing.

Without visibility, there’s no conversation.

Without conversation, there’s no opportunity.

Here’s what to do:

1. Talk about problems you solve.
↳ Be specific. Show how you’ve helped companies save money, make money, or solve headaches.

2. Put it out where decision-makers live.
↳ LinkedIn is your stage. Show up. Share insights. Tell stories.

3. Use AI smartly—but keep your voice.
↳ Let AI help with ideas, but don’t lose yourself. That’s what makes you memorable.

4. Batch your content.
↳ One day of focused creation → a month’s worth of posts. Done.

5. Stay consistent.
↳ This isn’t a “one-and-done” move. You build momentum by showing up.

Do this for 90 days and watch what happens!

No more chasing callbacks.

Recruiters and decision-makers DMing you first.

You can either keep applying into the void,

Or you can position yourself so that the right opportunities find you.

Your choice!

Tell me: Have you ever decided to start posting consistently but couldn’t do it?

What stopped you?

You’re getting a great opportunity, but you have no experience. So what? Say YES.You may feel unqualified. You may wonder...

You’re getting a great opportunity, but you have no experience.

So what? Say YES.

You may feel unqualified.

You may wonder, “What if I fail?”

But here's the truth:

Experience doesn’t always come first.

It's about figuring it out as you go.

Figure it out.
Put in the work.
Give your best.

Embrace the growth mindset and trust yourself to learn.

Every new challenge is an opportunity for growth.

Here’s the secret:

You don’t need to know everything before you start.

You just need to start.

Tell me: When did you ever say YES to an opportunity, even without experience?

How did it impact your career or life?

Many argue: A resume must showcase every job you've ever had.

But here's the truth:

Less is often more.

Sounds simple? It's actually smart.

Cutting irrelevant experience makes your resume stronger.

Focus on what matters now.

☑ Relevance Matters:
Only include jobs that relate to your current goals.

☑ Timeframe Counts:
Keep it to the last 10-15 years.

☑ Quality Over Quantity:
Highlight achievements, not just duties.

☑ Address Gaps:
If you took time off, explain it briefly.

☑ Emphasize Skills:
Use phrases like "Proven track record of" to show your impact.

Here are a few tips to refine your resume:

• Remove outdated roles
• Highlight key accomplishments
• Be concise and clear
• Use strong action verbs
• Tailor for each job application

What does it mean to cut the clutter from your resume?
It means creating a clear picture of your value.

- Show Your Best Work:
Focus on achievements that stand out.

- Keep it Clean:
Use a simple layout. Avoid clutter.

- Make It Easy to Read:
Short sentences and clear sections help.

- Be Honest:
Don’t stretch the truth. Authenticity matters.

- Update Regularly:
Keep your resume current with your latest skills.

Cutting out the noise isn't just smart.
It's essential for standing out.

A focused resume tells your story well.
It shows you know what matters in today’s job market.

Lead with clarity and purpose.
Your next opportunity awaits.

If you are someone who wants to grow your brand but hates self-promotion,

Read this.

Here’s the short answer:

Don’t build a brand around yourself.
Build it around your impact.

Let me explain:

Most people think “personal branding” means shouting your achievements from the rooftops.

But that’s just noise.

Real branding?

The kind that builds trust, opens doors, and draws people in?

That’s built on service.
On generosity.
On showing up to solve, not sell.

Here’s the truth no one tells you:

You can talk about yourself without making it about yourself.

Don’t just say what you did.
Tell us why it mattered.

Don’t just list wins.
Show how they helped someone else win, too.

Don’t post to impress.
Post to impact.

If you want a brand that feels real, try this method:

Give.
Give.
Give.
Then ask.

(And then go back to giving again.)

- Give insights that solve your audience’s problems.
- Give stories that make people feel seen.
- Give tools, tips, frameworks, hard-earned lessons.

Then,
When you do ask for something,

A click. A DM. A conversation.

It won’t feel like a pitch. It’ll feel like a natural next step.

You don’t need to be louder.
You need to be clearer.

Clear on who you help.
Clear on the problems you solve.
Clear on the value you bring to the table, and why it matters.

That’s not bragging.

That’s being of service.

And there’s nothing spammy about that.

Do you agree? Repost this and share your thoughts.

What if your most ‘embarrassing’ moment is the exact story someone else needs to hear?

You know that thing you never talk about?

The failure.
The breakdown.
The moment you felt small, lost, and stuck.

You buried it.

You told yourself no one would understand.

Or worse, they’d judge you for it.

But what if…

- That post you’re scared to write is the one that actually connects?

- That story you think is “too much” is the one that helps someone breathe again?

- That thing you went through was never just for you?

Here’s the truth no one tells you about vulnerability on the internet:

It doesn’t scare people away.

It draws them in when done with intention.

So, how do you share your truth without turning your feed into a therapy session?

Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Don’t post from the breakdown. Post from the breakthrough.

Write it after you’ve processed it.

When you’ve gained clarity.

When the emotion has turned into a lesson.

This isn’t about emotional dumping.

It’s about emotional leadership.

2. Share the story, but serve the reader.

Ask yourself:

“What’s the takeaway for them?”

“What would past me have needed to hear?”

“What does this teach?”

Stories make us human. Lessons make them powerful.

3. Don’t be afraid to go there. But go with a purpose.

Yes, you can share your rock-bottom moment.

Yes, you can talk about uncertainty, fear, and shame.

But don’t stop there. Show us how you moved through it.

Even if you’re still in the middle of it, give us what it’s teaching you.

I once thought vulnerability was weakness.

Now I know:

It’s a service.
It’s courage.
It’s connection.

So the next time you think, “Should I share this?”

Ask yourself instead: "Who might need this today?”

Repost this with your thoughts.

Applying for jobs online is what everyone does.

That’s exactly why it doesn’t work.

Let me explain. (Save this post.)

Most people think job hunting means:

- Polishing their résumé to match the profile
- Writing a customized, killer cover letter
- Submitting applications to job boards
- Waiting...
- And waiting some more…

But here’s what no one tells you:

70–80% of jobs are never even posted online.

They're filled quietly. Internally. Through referrals.

Through "hey, I know someone perfect for this."

This is the Hidden Job Market.

It’s in relationships.
It’s in curiosity.
It’s in courage.

Want to access the Hidden Job Market?

Stop only applying. Start asking.

Start conversations with people inside the companies you admire.

Ask thoughtful questions. Don’t pitch. Just connect.

Listen. Learn. Then let your values speak.

And over time…

- Those chats turn into invites.
- Those invites turn into referrals.
- Those referrals turn into offers you didn’t even know existed.

But that’s not all...
There’s one more unlock key:

Visibility.

You don’t just go knocking.

You build a home people want to walk into.

Start sharing what you care about:

- What you do
- Who you help
- How you solve real problems
- Why it matters

And do it frequently. Consistently. Authentically.

When you do, something magical happens:

- People start coming to you.
- Opportunities start finding you.
- Jobs land before they’re ever posted.

You want in?

You don’t need more cover letters.

You need more conversations.

Because the door to your dream job?

It’s probably open.

You just haven’t knocked on it yet.

Repost this and share with your network.

When I got into financial services, I was surrounded by smart people.

Every time I spoke, I felt like I was faking it.

I didn’t know what I was talking about.
I was still learning.
Still figuring it out.

So what did I do?

I pretended.
Used big words.
Tried to look more educated.

Thought that if I "sounded" smart, maybe I'd be taken seriously.

But inside?

Total imposter syndrome.

Here’s the truth I’ve learned the hard way:

- You can’t think your way out of imposter syndrome.

- You have to act your way through it.

Every time I shared something I learned
Every time I showed up even when I didn’t feel ready
Every time I taught someone else what I barely understood the day before.

The voice in my head got quieter.

Until eventually, it was gone.

Not because I became perfect. But because I kept showing up anyway.

Imposter syndrome doesn’t mean you’re not good enough.

It means you care enough to grow.

So take the mic.
Share what you know.
Teach what you're learning.

Trust me, you’re not faking it. You’re becoming it.

What’s your story with imposter syndrome?

Let’s talk about it.

“How do I follow up after an interview without sounding desperate?”

Let me stop you right there.

That question?

It’s rooted in fear.

Fear of rejection.
Fear of taking up space.
Fear of being “too much.”

But here’s the truth:

Following up isn’t desperate. It’s necessary.

It shows you’re interested.
It shows you’re serious.
It shows you care.

Let me put it this way:

If someone went on a date with you and never called back…

What would you assume?

Exactly.

That they weren’t interested.

The same psychology applies here.

If you don’t follow up, the employer assumes you’ve moved on.

Or worse, that you don’t really want the role.

So let me teach you the gold standard of following up:

Send a follow-up video email.

Not a templated "thank you."
Not a robotic LinkedIn message.
A real, human, personalized video.

Here’s how you will do it:

Use a tool like BombBomb.

Hold up a whiteboard with their name on it. Make it personal.

Say something like:

“Hi [Name],

Thank you so much for your time today. I learned a lot about the role and your team, and I’m more excited than ever about the opportunity.

I appreciated [something specific they said], and I’d be thrilled to contribute to [something related to the company or role].

Looking forward to next steps, and regardless of the outcome, I’m grateful we connected.”

That’s it.

It shows initiative
It makes you memorable
It humanizes your application

And most of all?

It makes you STAND OUT in a sea of silence.

Because most candidates?

They ghost.
They wait.
They hope.

But you?

You follow up like a pro.
You’re not desperate.
You’re intentional.

Your dream role won’t come to the one who waits.

It comes to the one who follows up with confidence.

Most job seekers obsess over resumes.

But they’re ignoring the part that really matters.

(Save this for your next job application. ♻️)

First of all, imprint this in your mind: Relationships matter more than your skills.

A strong network opens doors.

Stuffing your resume with keywords might work, but it can backfire.

If they catch you, your application goes straight to the trash.

Building connections is key.

Here’s what happens when you focus on relationships:

- Trust builds
- Vision aligns
- Loyalty forms
- Skills develop
- Confidence rises
- Perspectives shift
- Influence spreads
- Support increases
- Success multiplies
- Opportunities grow
- Growth accelerates
- Knowledge expands
- Collaboration thrives
- Innovation flourishes
- Community strengthens

Relationships aren’t just a nice-to-have.

They are essential for growth, for success, for impact.

How do you turn this insight into action?

Here are 6 practical steps:

1. Attend networking events regularly

Don’t just wait for the “perfect” event.

Whether it’s a local meetup, webinar, or industry conference, make it a habit to show up.

Every event is a chance to plant seeds for future opportunities.

2. Follow up with new connections

Meeting someone is just the beginning.

Send a thoughtful follow-up message within 24–48 hours.

Reference something specific from your conversation so it feels genuine.

This small act shows professionalism and keeps the door open for future dialogue.

3. Offer help before asking for favors

The golden rule of networking: give first.

Share advice, make introductions, or offer support when you can.

When you give generously without expecting immediate returns, people remember and they are more willing to help when you need it.

4. Join professional groups online and offline

From LinkedIn groups to industry associations, being part of communities keeps you visible and informed.

Participate in discussions, attend meetings, and engage with others’ posts.

The more active you are, the more trust and credibility you build.

5. Share knowledge and resources freely

Position yourself as someone who adds value.

If you read a great article, discover a new tool, or hear of a job opening share it.

When others benefit from your insight, they see you as a connector and problem solver, which strengthens your relationships.

6. Stay in touch and nurture your network

Don’t let your connections go cold.

A quick check-in, comment on their latest achievement, or message during the holidays keeps the relationship alive.

People want to help those they feel connected to, and that takes consistent effort.

Connect. Collaborate. Conquer.

When you focus on who you know, your success will follow.

Made it to the end? Drop your thoughts in the comments or repost further ♻️ and share it with your network.

Read this before you compare your life to someone else's highlight reel.

Someone has 10,000 followers.
You have 27.

They just bought a house.
You’re still figuring out rent.

They landed their “dream job.”
You’re still refreshing job boards.

Now pause.

Does that make you behind?

Ansolutely not!

It makes you human.

- You didn’t start from the same place.
- You didn’t walk the same road.
- You didn’t carry the same weight.

You’re not late.

You’re just on your path.

Some flowers bloom in spring.

Others wait for the sun a little longer.

Both still bloom.

So the next time you feel “behind”

Remember:

Your time is coming.

And what’s meant for you won’t miss you.
