That’s why we do I what we do – We want you to hear and see amazing stories of how God brings beauty from ashes – how he brings hope and healing even in the midst of life’s hardest struggles. My 17 year old son was murdered on Christmas eve. I was in a bad place. I purchased a gun each day, went to the lake and held it to my head to end my life. Each day I threw the gun in the lake. After over 50 guns, I sought out professional help. I went on HE is Hope Show to share my story. On filming day, after we told our story, God got ahold of my heart and, right there on set, I prayed to receive Jesus as my Lord and savior. This show is giving people HOPE in Jesus. Through the power of story, HE is Hope Show is sharing the Gospel in regions across the globe! We reach an audience of over 3 million people in the U.S., Africa, India, Pakistan, and China. Arch Kennedy, an author and former meteorologist, once lived a gay lifestyle before an encounter with Jesus changed everything.

Kennedy, author of “The Weather’s Fine: My Method for Navigating Life’s Challenges,” told CBN News he “grew up in the church” but went on to struggle with addiction and same-s*x attraction.

“I had never studied God’s Word,” Kennedy said. “A lot of my life, I barely even got to church, but I called myself a Christian.”

But when his sister invited him to a Bible study in Atlanta three years ago, something changed. The men’s group was the first time Kennedy truly studied God’s word. Much deeper than the typical Bible verses or devotionals he had previously read, the men’s group dove deep into Scripture.

An extremely dangerous threat is rising as radical Islam's evil reign of terror targets Christian believers in Mozambique. They're driven from homes, bloodied, and even beheaded. Their homes burned to the ground, traumatized survivors are forced to flee long distances looking for shelter in refugee camps.

Rodney and Ellie Hein have been missionaries for 40 years in Mozambique. They recently visited a camp – one of many for the 60,000 refugees who've fled over a couple of months time – which serves as the makeshift home of an Afrika Wa Yesu-trained pastor and church members.

"They didn't speak of their suffering; they spoke of joy over sharing the Gospel where they were," Ellie Hein said.

Our host is Jennifer Sheehan who was born and raised in Southern California to a bipolar, alcoholic mother who was married six times. Jennifer was mentally and physically abused by her mother and disowned by her father. Jennifer knows what it's like to feel unloved, unwanted, unworthy, abandoned, rejected and abused. To live in rough neighborhoods, be on food stamps and buy her clothes from garage sales growing up. The best gift Jennifer's mother ever gave her was sending her to church camp in seventh grade where she prayed to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior. He became her everything and has always been enough. Jennifer has a passion for evangelism and encouraging others to learn to be obedient to God and His Bible to live the powerful life of peace, love, joy and purpose that God has intended us to live.
