ARTURO DISLA WENT DEEP TWICE IN GAME 1!

​Arturo Disla put on a clinic in the first game of the doubleheader for the Frisco RoughRiders, taking the Arkansas Travelers pitching staff deep twice.

This marks his very first multi-HR game at the Double-A level.

​With the explosive performance, Disla is now up to 11 home runs on the season.

16 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗦 𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡!

Rafe Perich hit his 16th HR of the season today. It was a clutch 2-run shot to tie the game. The RoughRiders went on to win 7-6 in 12 innings.

He's got a .299 average and a 1.005 OPS with 16 HRs and 51 RBIs on the season.

Those 16 HRs lead the entire Texas Rangers organization.

Aidan Curry turned in his best outing since joining the Frisco RoughRiders today, tossing his first quality start at the Double-A level against the Arkansas Travelers. The right-hander was dealing from the jump, keeping the Mariners affiliate off-balance.

6.1 IP / 2 R / 4 H / 2 BB / 8 SO

He dropped his ERA a full three points with this outing.

Malcolm Moore has been promoted from the Hub City Spartanburgers to the Frisco RoughRiders. The Rangers catcher of the future is now just another step closer to Arlington.

​Moore has put together a spectacular season up to this point, leaving High-A after slashing a brilliant .300/.387/.542/.929. He also leaves behind a trail of damaged baseballs, setting new career highs with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs.

​The offensive production speaks for itself, but his growth behind the plate has been just as vital, throwing out an increased number of base runners this season.

NEW CAREER-HIGH FOR IAN MOLLER!

Frisco RoughRiders catcher Ian Moller launched his 7th home run of the season against the San Antonio Missions today, setting a new single-season career-high in just his 33rd game.

​He absolutely smoked this one, sending it 393 feet with a 105 mph exit velocity.

𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗠 𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗛𝗨𝗕 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬!

The blast marks his 10th home run of the season. He marked a new career-high when he hit his 4th HR this season and every long ball he's hit sets a new career-high.

It feels like a promotion to Double-A Frisco has to be right around the corner, though that call-up has honestly felt imminent for a couple of weeks now.

Not only is Moore completely getting things done at the plate, but he is handling business behind the plate as well, showing tremendous growth in his catching development defensively alongside his explosive bat.

𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡!

Cadence Scarborough turned in an incredible performance on the mound for the Hub City Spartanburgers tonight against the Asheville Tourists.

The right-hander delivered 3.2 shutout innings and racked up 7 strikeouts with 10 whiffs.

Through his first 3 starts in High-A this season, Scarborough has been excellent as he builds his workload back up. Over 10.2 innings, he has pitched to an incredible 1.69 ERA, allowing just 4 walks while striking out 13 batters. Opposing hitters have managed just a .167 batting average against the righty.

​Josh Owens put on a clinic at the plate for the ACL Rangers tonight, finishing the game 3-for-5 with 2 home runs and 3 RBIs.

​This brings his total to 7 home runs on the season. He has now hit 5 home runs in his last five games.
