Without rain the water is going to be low, slow and gin clear.
-
Since we had high water this spring which kept most of the SAV from coming in, fish are already moving in to their winter holes.

Fish deep. Fish slow. Fish finesse.

If you’re getting out on the water, wear good layers and think twice about not wearing a life jacket. Taking a cold plunge can become a seriously dangerous and/or life threatening incident this time of year.

Try to fish with a buddy and let someone know where you’re going (an taking out on a float) along with a general timeline on which you expect to be off the water.
