WFWM Public Radio WFWM Radio is a public service of Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland.

It broadcasts informational, educational, and cultural programming 24 hours a day to the westernmost counties of Maryland and adjacent areas in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. WFWM operates at an assigned frequency of 91.9 MHz, with studios located in the Stangle Building on the campus of Frostburg State University. It also operates a translator station, W242AD (96.3 MHz), in Oakland, Maryland. Ma

We will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry, on the Mountain Maryland Barn Dance, Saturday at Noon.

In the 1st hour, we will feature music from early stars of the Opry like Uncle Dave Macon, DeFord Bailey and Uncle Jimmy Thompson.

In the 2nd hour, it's Bluegrass stars of the Opry, including Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Osborne Brothers.

It's a two hour showcase of Country & Western fun & song every Saturday starting at high Noon on your always good company radio station WFWM Public Radio, 91.9 Frostburg and 96.3 Oakland.
