Calling all guitars players, bass players, drummers, keyboard players, and anyone else with a little bit of soul, the Academy is hosting our an open blues jam tonight! Join us every other Wednesday to meet some great people, play some great music, and learn from each other. All ages, instruments, and skill levels welcome.

Major props to everyone who participated in Bluegrass Jam Camp! We had a great group this summer. It was a joy putting together a full set for Grass in the Glades. The band sounded great and we look forward to doing it again in October! Stay tuned...

Still accepting applications for this year's Bluegrass Jam Camp. Four days of learning bluegrass tunes, and picking'. With Jody Mosser and Byrne Klay leading the way. Camp ends with a the whole camp playing a live set at Grass in the Glades of July 26!

The July camp concludes with a main stage performance at The Glades Festival Grounds for Grass In The Glades! We are incredibly grateful to receive this generous donation in loving memory of our friend, Adam “Leaf” Geschwindner!! The Glades Festival Grounds organized an incredible weekend of love, music and community that brought so many for the purpose of fostering live music and music education throughout Western MD, Southwest PA and Eastern WV. We are honored to be one of two schools to receive this and cannot thank you enough to all who attended and donated their time and money in memory and celebration of our late and great friend. There will be a scholarship offered to each of our upcoming Bluegrass Jam Camps in honor of Leaf. 🙏❤️🎶
