It reaches nearly 5,000 homes in the Frostburg Area on the basic tier on Comcast's cable system. The channel is programmed and operated by both students and faculty of the Mass Communication department duri
ng the Fall, Intersession, and Spring Semesters. The channel airs programs produced by the students in the Department of Communication; including FSU Music Department and other concerts; Guest speakers; multi-camera events and various student productions. We also air programming from other sources. The Frostburg studio is equipped with state of the art equipment, including a Ross Carbonite production switcher, four Hitachi High Definition floor cameras, a Sony grid camera, three teleprompters, as well as lighting and audio equipment. The CCIT 321 post-production lab features iMac computers furnished with the industry standard editing software from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. FSU-TV3 welcomes comments from its viewers.
