Buy Nothing, Give Freely is BACK for its fourth year!

Here's your reminder that Frostburg's bulk pickup runs May 19-21. Before anything hits the curb, bring it to us first. Everything you donate goes directly to a neighbor who needs it, for free & with no strings attached.

Start cleaning out that basement and bring your unwanted items to the BNGF event! Donation drop-off opens Thursday, May 14th at 4PM. The main event is Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17.

It’s wonderful to see how we can share hot meals with anyone who needs them, a true reflection of the kindness in our community. Your generosity really makes a difference right here in Cumberland. We’re so grateful for everything you do to serve our community by preparing delicious food and providing excellent service at an affordable price.

We’re counting on your help. Could you please choose a day (or even a few!) that works for you to volunteer in April? We need volunteers for all our service days, including Saturdays (when we prepare the food), Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.

We’d love to have teams, groups, civic organizations, and anyone else who wants to get involved in our community and build meaningful connections.

The Mayor & City Council of Frostburg, Maryland will meet on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 5:30 pm at City Hall, 37 Broadway, in Meeting Room 100.

Pursuant to Article III, § 305 of the City Charter, Mayor Logsdon has called a special meeting of the Mayor & Council to conduct business. The subject of the meeting will be consideration and approval of the bids and contracts for the previously approved CSO work for Projects X-B & X-C and the upcoming Bond Issuance (Ordinance 2026-03, Public Hearing: May 19).
