The Victory Bell was ringing in Fullerton on Friday.

Fullerton (1-0) opened the season with a dominant 56-16 win over Palmer (0-1).

The Warrior defense held the Tigers scoreless in the second half, while the offense exploded for 28 points. Fullerton rolled to 344 yards on the ground, led by sophomore Cael Dubas’s 224 yards on 22 carries. He scored 4 touchdowns for the Warriors.

Despite the cranes and concrete outside, it’s business as usual in the classroom for Twin River students.

Superintendent Brandi Bartels said the $39.9 million school building project remains on schedule and under budget. Crews fell behind over the summer because of rain, but by August they were catching back up.

Twin River wanted to make a statement in their season-opener against Giltner and that is exactly what they did.

The Titans set a school record for points scored in a game in their 74-20 win over the Hornets. The previous record was 67 points in a game when Twin River defeated Madison in 2023. They also broke the school 8-man record with 9 rushing touchdowns in a game.
