It was hot but Saturday we ventured out to The Orange Circle for lunch, meeting a new friend and visiting with family. We antiqued (it's a verb) at the biggest antique store I've ever been to. Cheers till next time.

Fun fact... my Dad served on the Brea Planning Commission in the 1990's.

There is affordable housing, it just may not be what you imagined your first house would be.
Sometimes we have to start with something smaller and then grow our equity and move it to the next property.
This unit could be that for someone.
It also could be someone's second home or a unit a parent might buy for their student to live in while they're going to school down here in Orange County.
There are options out there.

I'm a raider fan by marriage so when the opportunity came up to go to training camp a few weeks ago, we decided to jump on a 26 hour adventure.
We had a little traffic coming into Stateline, but once we got to our hotel in Vegas and changed our clothes, we were off to the training camp scrimmage.
None of us had been inside the stadium before so seeing the team in their element was pretty cool. After training camp, we hit some balls over at Top Golf and got some yummy dessert.
The next day we came back for an Allegiant Stadium tour and walk on the actual field.
Our stay at Mandalay Bay Hotel was exactly what we needed with great restaurants and an even better pool area.
Maybe we'll see you next year!

It's official!!!
Phoebe is officially moved in and starting classes at San Diego State University.
We did a little exploring and found a cute Hawaiian eatery before we headed over to a parents night Padre game.
The next morning we headed to the coast and ate a delicious breakfast overlooking the ocean in Pacific Beach.
Oh boy, are we going to miss her but we are so excited for all the amazing experiences she's going to have. Luckily, she only lives a couple hours away and we'll be seeing her often.

Of course they tell us this now when I have recessed lighting all over my house. Ha!
I don't think my hubby will be changing out the lighting any time soon.
