Stroll Weston Lakes is exclusive to the residents of Weston Lakes, Texas, "Delivering Neighborhood Connections" through sharing resident stories, pho

tos, and happenings you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these individuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of Weston Lakes, Texas. There is no better way for a business to secure long-term success than to make the right connections.

👋 Meet Dylan, our energetic and fun-loving 6-year-old Kid of the Month! Dylan is a 1st grader at Morgan Elementary School and a proud big brother to one sister.

He stays active playing flag football and baseball, and he’s especially proud of one unique talent: he can run really, really fast! Dylan also loves animals and dreams of becoming a veterinarian when he grows up.

🎄 With the holiday season approaching, Dylan is most excited for Christmas break, waiting for Santa, and hoping that—just maybe—it will snow again this year!

We’re thrilled to feature Dylan this month in 🌳 His bright spirit and big heart make him a standout in the Weston Lakes community!

Last weekend’s Fall Festival was one to remember! 🍁

The Weston Lakes Women’s Association brought the heart of fall to life with a day full of community spirit, great food, and family fun.

The event began with the annual 5K Run/Walk, where participants of all ages hit the scenic course, creating a lively morning filled with energy and camaraderie.

The festivities continued with the Chili Cook-Off, as local cooks competed for the top prize. Guests sampled delicious chili, cast their votes, and enjoyed live music, kids’ activities, and plenty of fall fun.

💛 A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the volunteers, participants, and sponsors who helped make this beloved event possible. The Association hopes to welcome even more Weston Lakes businesses next year to help the festival continue to grow.

All proceeds support local scholarships and grants for area students and community organizations.

After living in Weston Lakes for six years, the Leists partnered with Lindsey at to bring their vision to life — transforming their home from traditional to what they lovingly describe as “Rustic Elegance.”

What began as a simple kitchen update grew into a complete redesign that touched nearly every main room. The result? A warm, sophisticated home that reflects their love for the outdoors while embracing comfort and modern style.

“It was the coolest feeling to walk into my home on install day and see how it all came together,” they shared. “It truly felt like an episode of Extreme Home Makeover.”

👋 Meet our October Pet of the Month 🐶 Remi, the Krahn family’s loyal and lively Australian Shepherd!

The family welcomed her during COVID when the kids wanted a playful companion at home—and she’s brought nonstop energy ever since.

Known as the family’s “Velcro dog,” Remi sticks close to her humans wherever they go. She loves meeting other dogs, though her excitement sometimes comes out as barking and pulling—once she’s up close, she’s all about playtime!

Remi’s best friend is Tito, a 7-pound pup belonging to the Krahn’s college-aged daughter. Despite his small size, Tito protects Remi whenever thunder rumbles, bravely standing up to whatever scares her.

Remi also takes her role as pool lifeguard seriously, keeping a watchful eye whenever someone’s swimming—and even jumping in if she thinks anyone’s in trouble!

In the summer of 2021, as Weston Lakes began reopening after the shutdown, two newcomers—Patti Greene and Kathy Girgenti—connected through the community page and sparked something beautiful: the Weston Lakes Ladies Bible Study (WLLBS).

What started with 12 women sharing a love for the Word has blossomed into a vibrant group of over 50 members, meeting each spring and fall in the Weston Lakes Country Club Library. Their chosen study, Joy of Living Bible Studies, offers practical lessons that enrich lives and deepen understanding.

WLLBS isn’t just about study—it’s about service, too. They’ve supported local charities like Katy Christian Ministries and The Ballard House, making a real impact beyond their meetings.

Whether you’re new to Weston Lakes or simply looking for a welcoming, non-denominational group to grow spiritually, WLLBS invites you to join their next session.
