If you want a life hack, this is it. Write out everything you want done in your house toss it, and ChatGPT ask it to split it by family members give it ages so that it gives age-appropriate chores to everyone give everyone a list and watch the magic happen. Sunday Doneday so it can be Sunday Funday.

This is the first two-story house we’ve lived in and I was just thinking to myself how funny that we have an entire set of upstairs things and downstairs things. It seems so lazy, but it truly helps us be functional. Do other people do this?

In the course of a decade it was a loft/playroom then it got a wall and closet, it was an office, then a bedroom and now a game room. Kind of full circle but big kid style.

We had massive water damage last year that resulted in a whole home renovation. We decided to do the majority of the work ourselves. It was physically and emotionally exhausting, but the joy we get from every design decision and finished project is the best way to love our home. Knowing we made the most aesthetically pleasing decisions we could for the best value and quality is a bonus and I want to share how you can dream design on a budget too!
