Fascinating: SiriusXM was talking this week about merging with iHeartMedia in a deal to combine the nation's largest satellite radio provider with the largest terrestrial radio station owner. iHeart, which has more than 860 stations, filed for bankruptcy in 2018. SiriusXM's shares have fallen more than 50% since 2023.

We are sad to report that Eric Martin, formerly of Q104, has also died this week. Eric "Easy" Martin was most known for doing Sunday morning's on the Q.

Very sad to report the death of former Gadsden radio announcer Chris Crisler. Chris was a long time Q104 announcer, and later served the public at WKXX.
