Lane closures on State Route 400 in Forsyth and Fulton Counties will take place starting on Sunday.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the closure is for a project that will construct new express lanes in both directions along 16-miles of the freeway.
Temporary lane closures will occur daily from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on SR 400 southbound and northbound from Shiloh Road to the I-285 interchange Monday through Friday.
SR 400 southbound from Holcomb Bridge Road to Abernathy Road will shut down Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution.
