Limited number of VIP Flamingo Feedings available each day at 10:15 am. Feed vending machines at petting zoo to feed the goats require quarters. Experience a "giraffe's eye view" from our elevated walkway that surrounds our mixed species African savannah exhibit. Looks like everyone in the flamingo habitat had to same idea…Zzzzzz. Flamingo usually sleep standing on one leg. They often tuck their head under a wing and balance on the other leg while resting. Flamingos may even lie down when they feel secure. Young flamingos spend more time sitting or lying down than adults. 📷 Brianna.
