A tortoise's beak is a hard, keratinous structure that is similar to a bird's. In managed care, some individuals require regular trimming. “Tank” the sulcatta tortoise was a former pet that developed a split in his beak. His beak does not wear evenly, so his beak requires a routine maintenance.

Did you know that alpacas are considered by many as eco-friendly livestock?

Their soft padded feet cause minimal distrubance to terrain as compared to other livestock.

They graze gently, cutting plants instead of uprooting them.

They produce high fiber yield relative to their environmental impact. This makes alpaca fiber a sustainable alternative to many synthetic and even other natural fibers. 📸 Brianna.
