Good morning! Starting the morning off right with fresh browse. It is especially important during extreme heat for many herbivores because it provides much more than calories.

🌿 Hydration: Fresh browse contains substantial moisture, helping animals maintain fluid balance when they are losing water through respiration and other cooling mechanisms.

Tenrecs often enjoy chinchilla sand because it provides a fine, dry substrate for dust-bathing and grooming. Rolling and rubbing in fine sand can help remove loose material, excess oils, and debris from their skin and fur. 🎥 Brianna
