AccessWDUN is now again known as Access North Georgia as Jacobs Media Corporation celebrates 77 years of service to the Northeast Georgia region.
The news website has been serving the region since 1999, working under the same Jacobs Media Corporation that has operated radio stations WDUN and WGGA in Gainesville since 1949. The website was renamed to AccessWDUN in 2015.
Director of Access North Georgia, John Jacobs, IV, "The move from AccessWDUN to Access North Georgia is a step to better reflect who we are and who we serve. While the WDUN name carries strong recognition in the radio landscape, it ties us to a single brand and doesn’t fully represent our broader reach," Jacobs said.
