Excited to dust off my teaching hat and talk about the art and grit of making media for social change. I’m so grateful that the Agricultural Justice Project exists to foment revolution and present a real and fair alternative system that can shift the current exploitive paradigm to one of cooperation and transparency.

Check out our latest video project! 26 shorts about how to certify organic... Incredible editing by Zaskyra James, gorgeous animation by Georg Pedersen and rockin' tunes by Travis Atria! I'm so lucky to have such talented collaborators!!

FOG along with Little Bean Productions has partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Organic Program to launch a video series called Organic Certification Made Simple: Bite by Bite as part of the USDA Sound and Sensible Initiative, a campaign that aims to make organic certification more accessible, affordable and attainable.

The multi-part series provides a step-by-step overview of organic production requirements and the process of organic certification—by farmers, for farmers.

This article talks about some of the other Food Justice Certified farms! Hungry for Justice: Spotlight on the South covered just one farm, but I hope to make a second film that covers the domestic fair trade landscape throughout North America!

The federal standards don’t include any labor provisions, but the Agricultural Justice Project is sustainable ag work for the people in the fields.
