Clear your Tuesday nights, the ballroom has officially reopened. 🪩💃🏼

Dancing With the Stars Season 35 officially premiered in its two-night special this week, and the performances did not disappoint. After the widespread success and social media popularity of recent seasons, the show is receiving attention like never before as new viewers flood in to support their favorite stars.

The couples kicked off the new season dancing to hit songs from the years they were born, with standout performances from paralympian Ezra Frech, reality star Maura Higgins, and actor Harry Shum Jr. Actress Julia Stiles also stole the show on n aw ight 2 with a high-energy quickstep to “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton shortly after her passing. Along with these breakout performances, the show also had its first two eliminations. Reality stars Conner Leavitt and Sarah Jane Nader were sadly sent home.

Because voting is such a crucial part of the competition, their early exits also raise a question about celebrity status on the show itself, how much does a famous last name or relationship translate to an audience of your own? With that being said, we can’t wait to see where the rest of the season is headed.

New York Fashion Week has officially come to an end, and it was as beautiful and tasteful as always.

Big fashion names like Ralph Lauren really pulled out all the stops, bringing romantic gowns, distressed denim and classic American style to the runway. Coach celebrated its 85th anniversary with sequins, party hats and plenty of personality, while Diane von Furstenberg made its long-awaited return to the NYFW runway since last seeing her work in 2017.

Carolina Herrera also celebrated 45 years in fashion with a collection inspired by New York, complete with a runway filled with yellow tulips. And, of course, the front rows were just as exciting, with big names like Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, Gigi Hadid, Kaia Ge**er and Demi Moore showing up to support their favorite designers.

But behind the glamour, NYFW also faced some much darker moments. PETA protesters disrupted COS’ runway show to protest the use of wool, arguing that sheep are subjected to cruelty in the wool industry. The protest escalated when Council of Fashion Designers of America CEO Steven Kolb physically restrained two protesters. Kolb later apologized and announced he would take a leave of absence.

The incident added to a larger conversation online about the sometimes surreal, almost dystopian side of fashion week. The extravagant clothes, celebrity-filled front rows and carefully constructed displays existing alongside protests and criticism of the industry itself have people reflecting.

From major fashion anniversaries and long-awaited comebacks to protests that force the fashion industry to look at what happens behind the runway, this season of NYFW has everybody talking.

The 78th Emmy Awards have officially concluded, and now that we’ve obsessed over red carpet looks, newlywed couples, and charming speeches, it’s time to look back at the night.

With her fifth and final win for her performance as Deborah Vance on ‘Hacks’, Jean Smart made history for women as she became the first actress to win an Emmy for every season of a television show. Matthew Rhys became the first performer to win two Lead Actor Emmys in one night, while ‘Widow’s Bay’ dominated the ceremony, breaking the all-time Emmy record for a comedy series and winning 14 awards.

Noah Kahan delivered a beautiful performance covering Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” in memoriam of beloved TV greats, including Dolly Parton, Catherine O’Hara, Rob Reiner, Tim Curry, and Eric Dane.

Host Mariska Hargitay, along with presenters John Mulaney, Marcello Hernandez, Matthew McConaughey, Rachel Sennot, and more, brought hilarious, mildly censored bits to the award show.by

However, the highs of the night don’t take away from the fact that no performers of color won a single major acting award, reviving the hashtag and drawing concern to the recent lack of diversity in Hollywood. High-profile nominees and casts of color went home empty-handed, leaving watchers questioning whether some of the night’s snubs were more than just a coincidence.

Between record-breaking wins, funny speeches, and dinner invitations, this year’s Emmy Awards gave us plenty to celebrate, and even more to talk about.

This is Rowdy’s official fashion campaign report.

The months leading up to NYFW have been packed with fashion campaigns, unexpected collaborations, and events that keep breaking the internet time and time again.

More than anything, we’ve been loving how brands and artists are starting to think beyond a single medium. Fashion is becoming a space where film, music, photography, celebrity, and internet culture all collide.

From Dior and A24 to Tommy Hilfiger, BVLGARI, and Calvin Klein, we gathered some of our favorite ways brands are embracing collaboration and culture.

Whether it’s Love Island stars being dressed by major fashion houses, familiar faces becoming brand ambassadors, or actors using fashion to usher in a new era, we love seeing these worlds overlap. Behind the camera, creatives like Aidan Zamiri, whose work spans fashion, photography, and music, including collaborations with artists like Charli xcx, show just how blurred the lines between creative industries have become.

The fashion industry is beginning to understand the appeal of using different forms of art to promote what they’re creating. Rowdy has been loving how intertwined creative worlds have become lately and, even more, seeing fashion become a medium that brings them all together.

With NYFW just getting started, we can’t wait to see what fashion has in store next.

When I first watched this ad, I was confused about what the point of it was. I wondered: what does sports have to do with being half-naked? I quickly realized this isn’t about sports at all. It’s the male gaze dressed up in a jersey and portrayed as playful to take attention away from what it really is. Disheartening.

Sweeney used to say she didn’t want to be seen as a s*x symbol. Of course, she was portrayed as one anyway. Now she seems to be leaning into the persona society assigned to her by continuing to do ads that are overly s*xualized and controversial. There’s conversation about her choices and the direction of her career. But in her defense, she’s doing exactly what’s being asked of her to succeed.

However, I can’t deny that this choice to overs*xualize her body and image sets women back. We already struggle to be taken seriously in a space that’s treated as “for men”.

Maybe, it’s the industry’s fault for creating this system, but is she just making it harder for us to tear it down?

Reality TV is SO back.

Earle Meets World was released on September 4th, and we’re just as obsessed as the rest of the internet. If you are a chronic reality TV watcher, we HIGHLY recommend it.

Somehow, within a few episodes, we have become fully invested in, shocker, another family. The Earles are chaotic, complicated, wildly entertaining, and Alix’s blended/step-family dynamic is actually CRAZY. There is so much family history to unpack, and getting a first-hand account of the family’s life is so entertaining.

Then there’s Alix and Braxton… Watching her navigate the breakup in real time, only for the season to leave us wondering whether that door is really closed?!

But what really makes the show stand out is how vulnerable it feels. In a time when so much of social media is carefully curated, Earle Meets World gives us a glimpse at the messy, complicated, and very real parts of their lives. It feels less polished than a lot of reality TV we’ve seen lately, and somehow, that makes it even more captivating. We’re watching people be honest about family, relationships, heartbreak, and everything in between.
