Timothée Chalamet is reinventing himself.

His latest Vogue interview reveals that he’s done playing by Hollywood’s rules. Now he’s writing, funding, and living his own story.

Hot off his SAG win and Oscar nomination, following the iconic “one of the greats” speech, his new movie Marty Supreme tells the story of a ping-pong prodigy and stars Chalamet alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, the Creator.

What really caught our eye? The promo.
A staged Zoom pitch where he suggested dropping ping-pong balls from a blimp, painting landmarks all in his new “hardcore orange.” The days that followed? An actual orange blimp flying over the streets of LA.

Timothée is staying true to his words. He wants to be one of the greats, and he’s showing everyone he’s ready to be. We couldn’t be more excited.

Sometimes, reality gets loud, so we make our own worlds instead.

Volume 14 is an invitation to disappear for a moment, to slip into something surreal, electric and entirely your own. Escapism is our portal.

We’re bringing the issue to life Wednesday, Dec. 3 at from 8:30–10:30 PM. Step into a night where the ordinary glitches, the colors get brighter, and imagination becomes the only rule.

Escape with us… if you dare.

The human body is taking center stage at the 2026 Met Gala.

Yesterday, Anna Wintour and Andrew Bolton announced the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s newest Costume Institute exhibition theme, “Costume Art,” a look at fashion history through the bodies that bring clothes to life.

A celebration of the human form in all its complexity, recognizing classical figures, lived-in bodies, pregnant silhouettes, and anatomical detail as central to fashion.

So what can we expect come the first Monday in May?
Bodies reimagined as art. Sculptural shapes. Archival references with new energy. Mirrored or anatomical moments inspired by the exhibit itself. Whatever comes, the body is the muse next year.

The clocks fell back, and so did everyone’s will to be productive.

Every year it happens, and every year we act shocked when it’s pitch black before we leave class. Seasonal depression creeps in fast this time of year, especially when your only source of light is your laptop screen.

So here’s your reminder: your day doesn’t end when it gets dark. Go on that walk. Romanticize your sunset lamps. Make plans after 5 (even if it’s just to Wawa). We’ve still got months of sunsets before dinner ahead, so find your light where you can.

Today we honor all who have served in the armed forces and recommit to supporting our veterans. But too many of those who protected our freedoms are now being left behind by the very institution meant to care for them.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has been cited for serious staffing shortages across nearly all of its health centers, including a lack of psychologists and nurses, leaving veterans with injuries and mental-health needs waiting longer than ever for care.

On this Veterans Day we thank them for their service, but we also call on our government to stop treating support as optional. Veterans deserve respect, care and benefits they were promised, and we must ensure the system actually delivers for them.

It seems like everyone is in their running era training for marathons, running 5Ks on Saturday mornings and joining run clubs in hopes of building community (or finding hot people).

The postgrad-to-run-club pipeline is exploding as young adults look for ways to stay social. Social media has been filled with twenty-somethings showing out at marathons across the country, with this past weekend being the New York City Marathon.

Sunday’s marathon broke records. With 59,226 finishers, this year’s NYC Marathon became the largest on record.

Maybe the real postgrad glow-up is a runner’s high.

What we thought might happen a month ago is officially becoming a reality. Two months into the government shutdown, the longest in U.S. history, emergency funds are running out, and the impact is starting to hit home.

SNAP benefits that feed over 42 million Americans are shrinking, and the ripple effects are spreading fast. Federal aid offices are stretched thin, research funding has stalled, and FAFSA delays are leaving students waiting for answers, and for that next meal swipe.

Even travel isn’t safe from the gridlock. With Thanksgiving around the corner, the FAA is warning of delays and TSA shortages, meaning some students might be spending the holiday at an airport terminal, not at home.

What started as headlines in D.C. is now showing up in grocery aisles, campus jobs, and flight gates. The warning signs we talked about last month? They’ve arrived.
